Process of Occupational Therapy

The process of occupational therapy represents the actions that an occupational therapist takes to promote the highest levels of functional independence following disease or injury. These actions involve evaluation and intervention methods, such as gathering the occupational profile, performing activity analysis, providing restorative exercises, and teaching compensatory methods.
