  • “Environmental factors are aspects of the physical, social, and attitudinal surroundings in which people live and conduct their lives” (AOTA, 2020, S9-10).        

  • “Personal factors are the unique features of a person that are not part of a health condition or health state and that constitute the particular background of the person’s life and living” (AOTA, 2020, S10).
