Treatment Strategies in Acute Care is an interactive video course intended to provide guidelines for safe and therapeutic strategies for therapists working with stroke survivors in the acute care setting. Students should carefully read the information in each chapter of this Workbook and then watch the corresponding videos. Pay attention to the symbols that appear in the lower left-hand corner of the videos at different points.

W means to complete a worksheet assignment: stop the video, follow the Workbook's directions, and do the assigned worksheet.

When is in the corner of the screen, it means to Pause and Practice. Ask students to pause the video, turn to the Workbook's directions, and practice the therapeutic method demonstrated.
