Functional Treatment Ideas & Strategies is an interactive video course. Students can watch the videos and follow along in the Workbook. Three different symbols will appear in the lower left-hand corner of the videos at different points.

W means to complete a worksheet assignment: stop the video, follow the Workbook's directions, and do the assigned worksheet.

When is in the corner of the screen, it means to Pause and Practice. Ask students to pause the video, turn to the Workbook's directions, and practice the therapeutic method demonstrated. The treatment methods demonstrated in this learning module were carefully chosen to provide success with the majority of stroke survivors with hemiplegia.

There are a total of 16 Worksheet Assignments (W) and 16 Pause and Practice () sessions embedded within the videos that make up this learning module. You may choose to follow the program in chronological order, or you may also choose to follow an individual patient from Evaluation to Treatment.
